"So, America, what was that about 'It's not going to rain today! Dude, let's go on a picnic!'" You asked between gasps. You had both just run from your picnic to the house, and you were pretty winded. You pushed your wet hair out of your face and sighed. "So much for a fun day together, now it's all freezing and dreary…" you sighed, leaning on the front porch rail, shivering from the cold.

"Dude, it's not my fault the weather sucks!" The blonde said indignantly, coming to stand beside you on the porch
.
"I know, but now it's freezing!" You sighed heavily and looked out across the yard.
America then turned and looked at you, grabbing your shoulder so you would face him. "It's totally freezing, but if you're disappointed, I can think of something much more fun to do in the rain!" He said cheerily as he pulled off his shirt. "Ya wanna join me?"

You nodded, a blush spreading across your face. You always thought the blonde haired man was so oblivious to everything, and here he was, asking you this. Who were you to say no? "Ye-yeah." You stuttered, a smile nervously crept to your face.

"That's…….Awesome!" He yelled, grabbing your hand and dragging you out into the rain. "Rain dancing!" He yelled with a laugh and began to twirl you around in the rain.
You blinked in confusion. "What?" you stammered out as you were spun around with America. This was his idea of fun? The rain beat down on your shoulders and the mud squelched under your feet as you danced across the yard. The wind picked up and whipped your hair across your face, sending more chills down your spine. You looked up into his blue eyes of your best friend with your own (e/c) ones. A happy smile seemed to always be on his face, and it wasn't missing now. You, on the other hand, were probably grimacing. Not as America would notice, he's quite oblivious to reading emotions. How could he not be bothered by this? Yeah, it was nice and you loved him but it was way too cold to be out here dancing. Didn't he hate the cold too? You could always dance in the house, where it was dry and warm and comfy.

You snapped out of your daydream of warmth and comfort in the house when America spoke. "Where did you learn to dance?" He asked as we spun slowly.
"There isn't much to it. You just spin in circles. Now stop stepping on my feet, America!" You snorted and rolled your eyes. The rain seemed to have seeped into you and was chilling you to the core, you tried to ignore it because it really was fun to dance with Alfred, but at last you couldn't stand the chilling rain anymore. You pulled away from America and crossed your arms. "Gosh it's cold, I can't stand out here anymore." You grumbled, a shiver traveling up your spine.

America looked disappointed as you pulled away and you had to feel sorry for a moment. "Fine, let's go inside. It's cold out here anyways."
You both finally got inside and changed out of your sopping clothes. You were still cold, gosh you hated getting wet. It chilled you to the bone. You pulled a blanket closer around you and curled up on the couch.

America finally plopped down beside you and you instantly scooted close to him. Why did it have to be so cold? America smiled and pulled you closer. "Warmth. Yaaaaaaay~" you yawned.

Just as you were about to go to sleep America grabbed the remote and pressed play. "Let's watch a scary movie! I'm too scared to watch it alone so you'll watch with me, right?!" He asked, trembling and clutching a pillow that had been sitting on the couch.
So much for going to sleep. 'At least I'm still warm.' You thought as you snuggled closer to America. "Okay, I'll watch it with you." You smiled, you hated scary movies too but you didn't want to give up the warmth and comfort of your best friend.
Turns out you still ended up shivering half the night, but at least you weren't still cold. Just scared out of your mind, afraid to go to sleep, and freaked out by that weird shadow in the corner of your room. But that's better than being cold, right? ….Right?

Well this really sucks....It's short, pointless, and America is OOC. Sigh.... Well anyway you should read my other stories...they are way better than this.

I blame :iconmagicktouchbassist: for this, she told me to edit it. This was orignally in first person and not with America. So yeah, she gets blamed for the crappiness. XD Somehow. Yeah, it's unfair.
